Egypt's first luxury train to be launched in 2027

Egypt's first luxury train and "rail cruise" will be launched in 2027 thanks to an agreement between Egypt National Railway and the upscale Italian hospitality business Arsenale S.p.A.  15 carriages with 40 staterooms in three levels of luxury—deluxe, suite, and honor suite—will make up the opulent train.  

The 'Guardian of the Nile', an Italian-built luxury train, will provide an opulent journey for 80 people.  The train will allow tourists to enjoy Egypt's rich history while reflecting local culture and upholding international standards.  Passengers will have the chance to explore Egypt's attractions, such as the Nile valley and Luxor temples, with bucket-list itineraries that include carefully chosen stops.
